Tramore under consideration for Galopin but John Durkan remains preferred option

The John Durkan Chase remains Willie Mullins' preferred option for the reappearance of Galopin Des Champs but with uncertainty surrounding its rescheduling, the Savills Chases at both Leopardstown and Tramore will now come under consideration.

The Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite was due to reappear at Punchestown on Sunday but that fixture was lost due to frozen ground and now Mullins must find alternative plans.

The John Durkan could be rearranged for Punchestown on December 19, with a decision on that set to be made by Horse Racing Ireland on Monday.
