Christmas comes early as some of racing's biggest trainers, jockeys and personalities give their top picks over the festive period.

Thursday, December 26

Millers Bank (12.35 Market Rasen)

I'd be hopeful he's capable of defying a penalty. Alex Hales is having his best season and has always held this horse in fairly high regard.
David Fitzgerald

Daphne Du Clos (12.55 Wincanton)

I hope we can win the Christmas Hurdle with one of our three [Fusil Raffles, Epatante and Verdana Blue], but we haven't got that many runners on Boxing Day, although Daphne Du Clos would have a good chance at Wincanton.
Nicky Henderson

Dostal Phil (2.25 Fontwell)

I head down to Fontwell and hope he can provide a Boxing Day winner. I won on him at Exeter last time and he should hopefully have a good chance.
Richard Johnson

Ballyandy (2.30 Kempton)

Hopefully Ballyandy can land the Christmas Hurdle.
Nigel Twiston-Davies

Quick Grabim (2.30 Kempton)

He won the Royal Bond last season for Willie Mullins, and he's now with Fergal O'Brien. He's only a little horse but he's got plenty of pace and it's a race in which I wouldn't want to be with any of the favourites.
Tony Ennis

Epatante (2.30 Kempton)

The horse of mine I most want to see win, wherever he goes, is Fakir D'Oudairies but the one I'll tip is Epatante each-way in the Christmas Hurdle.
JP McManus

Edwulf (2.45 Down Royal)

He's back in really good shape and I’d expect him to run very well in the hunters chase at Down Royal. He’s my best chance.
Joseph O'Brien

Confirmation Bias (3.45 Wincanton)

He runs in the bumper at Wincanton on Boxing Day and is a horse we like a lot.
Paul Nicholls

Friday, December 27

Ocean Cove (1.00 Wetherby)

I’m set to ride him on his chase debut at Wetherby and he’s one I’m looking forward to. He was quite good over hurdles but we’re hopeful he’ll be even better over fences.
Connor Brace

Allmankind (1.35 Chepstow)

I’m most looking forward to running Allmankind in the Finale Juvenile Hurdle at Chepstow.
Dan Skelton

Now McGinty (2.50 Chepstow)

I like his chances in the Welsh National on Friday. I won the race on Halcon Genelardais and Now McGinty has a very similar profile. He has course form, goes on soft ground and there should be mileage in his mark in his second season over fences.
Wayne Hutchinson

Saturday, December 28

Shall We Go Now (12.40 Newbury)

He hasn’t been seen for a while but his last run on the Flat, where he was trying to concede 17lb to a future Group 1 winner [Aspetar], doesn’t read too badly now. I’m looking forward to seeing him in a maiden hurdle on Saturday.
Harry Fry

Cobolobo (2.25 Newbury)

I’m looking forward to riding him in the Mandarin Chase after he won nicely at Haydock last time.

Moyhenna (2.50 Limerick)

I'm expecting her to improve plenty for her comeback run at Navan, and hopefully she can put up a big performance in the Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase at Limerick on Saturday.
Denis Hogan

Eclair Surf (3.00 Newbury)

I am really excited about him running in the Challow at Newbury. He is a gorgeous, big horse who won very well at Exeter on his first start for us. He has come on a lot for that. Time will tell if he is going to be good enough but he hasn't put a toenail wrong so far.
