Top Trumps: four horses to watch as the outspoken US president arrives in the UK
US president Donald Trump arrived for his UK state visit on Monday morning. To mark the occasion, these runners could be worth watching
Fake Media
1.50 Listowel
So close to Donald Trump's catchphrase of 'fake news', something he has claimed the mainstream US media regularly reports. He clearly has a trust issue with the press and he wouldn't want to put his faith in this filly either, given her forecast SP of 125-1.
Sticky Situation
2.20 Listowel
Political storms have surrounded the president throughout his tenure with an alleged campaign collusion with Russia one controversy he has been unable to shake off. Sticky Situation has his own challenges to overcome, having run as recently as Thursday.
Brooklyn Boy
5.30 Windsor
Born on June 14, 1946 at the Jamaica Hospital in the borough of Queens which borders Brooklyn on Long Island, Trump was a powerful businessman before entering politics. He will visit the Queen at Buckingham Palace later on Monday but there is no indication the pair will then head to the royal racecourse to watch this runner.
I'vegotthepower
8.00 Windsor
The US president is generally regarded as the most powerful person in the world, although in the 2018 list compiled by Forbes, Trump was rated third behind Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin. I'vegotthepower's chances of claiming top spot look better following a decent effort at Sandown last month.
