Too Darn Hot moved to the top of this year's two-year-old tree with an impressive demolition of a fair Group 3 field in the Solario Stakes at Sandown on Saturday.

Out of Dar Re Mi, one of the best active broodmares in the world, the son of Dubawi is bred to be brilliant and his two wins to date suggest he could be outstanding.

John Gosden's colt powered clear of his rivals in great style to move a comfortable four lengths clear and earn a Racing Post Rating of 118, a pound better than the Gosden-trained Raven's Pass recorded when winning the Solario in 2007.
