With the dust settling on a big few days of two-year-old action, now seems an apt time to reflect on the cream of the current crop.

There is little doubt the class of 2018 is shaping up very well. The poster boys are Quorto and Too Darn Hot, two Dubawi colts who boast unbeaten records after three starts each.

Tantalisingly, both hold a Group 1 Darley Dewhurst entry on October 13 and a clash between the pair would be something to relish on Newmarket's Rowley Mile.
