Tony McCoy: Cobden must not doubt Cyrname's stamina in King George showdown

Sir Anthony McCoy has urged Harry Cobden not to repeat the mistake he once made as the greatest jump jockey declared Cyrname his Ladbrokes King George VI Chase pick but stressed the sport's top performer must be ridden as though his stamina is guaranteed.

Cyrname won the fight to secure Cobden's services in racing's Boxing Day spectacular on Saturday.

However, he must still show himself to be fully effective over three miles when taking on opposition headed by last season's King George-winning stablemate Clan Des Obeaux and Betfair Chase hero Lostintranslation, who shares 13-8 joint-favouritism with the sponsors alongside the Paul Nicholls first string.
