Tonight's racing: three who catch the eye at Wolverhampton
Today's action has been varied and informative, but if you are still on the lookout for winners then Wolverhampton is your final port of call. The meeting gets under way at 5.30 this evening on Sky Sports Racing and here are three to consider
Monumental Man
6.00 Wolverhampton
This fellow is pretty aptly named. His age may now be in double figures, but Monumental Man is as hungry for racing as ever and he returns to the track having finished third here on Tuesday.
Melbourne 10 Racing's stalwart is a model of consistency and should be able to take advantage of this depleted field. A ten-time winner on the all-weather, Monumental Man has the race won on ratings and could be tough to stop.
Miss Crick
6.30 Wolverhampton
David Sewell's yellow and red spotted colours are not often associated with Wolverhampton on Saturday evenings – he was represented by Good Man Pat and Another Crick over jumps at Kempton – but Miss Crick will be hoping to notch a first Flat win under Dougie Costello.
The eight-year-old has a chase rating of 122 and a hurdle rating of 126, but her trainer Alan King clearly thinks she's capable of adding to her tally on the Flat and she has finished second on her last two starts.
Alkaamel
7.00 Wolverhampton
Cieren Fallon was a name on many people's lips last summer and the jockey looks to have a good chance at partnering his sixth career winner on Alkaamel.
The son of Havana Gold has won both of his starts since he was sent handicapping and looks to be improving fast. Give And Take, Fame And Glory and Legatissimo all feature in his pedigree and this track should suit given he has done his winning at all-weather tracks Kempton and Newcastle.
