Tonight's racing: three runners who catch the eye at Wolverhampton

Day two of Cheltenham's November meeting and a brace of Listed races at Lingfield were among this afternoon's highlights, but the action does not stop when the sun sets.

An eight-race card at Wolverhampton carries the torch this evening and here are three horses to note.

Dragon Tattoo (5.45)

When Hugo Palmer sends juveniles to the track they usually fare well. He has a 32 per cent strike-rate (seven from 22) with a level stakes profit of +12.35. Dragon Tattoo's best run to date was last time out when fourth at Newcastle, and she has the plum draw in stall one for her handicap debut.

Corelli (6.45)

This John Gosden-trained juvenile has an excellent pedigree, as he can count Lucarno and Flying Officer among his relatives.

It is a bloodline Gosden is very familiar with and Corelli shaped with promise on debut at Nottingham when sixth. An extra furlong should prove to his liking as well.

Sky Marshal (9.15)

If you were clever enough to back Sky Marshal when the market for the race was first compiled, well done. The Ed Walker-trained three-year-old was inserted at 20-1, but that price has collapsed.

He has not shown all that much in four starts to date, but perhaps his ability has not translated to the track as he has been very well-backed to gain a first success.
