Tonight's racing: three runners who catch the eye
Godolphin dominated the headlines at Newbury with impressive front-running victories from Hawkbill and Ribchester in the two feature races of the day – the Aston Park Stakes and the Lockinge – but the racing carries on this evening as both Doncaster and Uttoxeter provide seven-race cards for you to get your teeth stuck into.

John Groucott has been a big supporter of Harry Challoner – providing him with the second most rides by any trainer in the last five seasons and it's fitting that the 27-year-old jockey will quit the saddle after riding this eight-year-old gelding, who he has ridden to victory on five occasions. Despite being pulled up last time when clearly not on a going day at Southwell, he boasts a good record over fences and has won twice at the track.
Very unexposed five-year-old gelding who has been well found in the market on a few occasions but let down punters with some lacklustre performances. However, the step down in trip today to 2m4f inspires confidence and if he gets off the mark today, watch out for Anthony Honeyball turning him out quickly as he hold entries at both Towcester on Monday and Huntingdon on Tuesday.
It takes a brave man to back against an improving David Simcock-trained filly. This daughter of Zamindar got her head in front at the fourth time of asking when sent off 1-8 favourite in a four-runner Ffos Las maiden (nothing to shout home about given her opposition) , but showed clear improvement when winning hard held at the same track a month later in a competitive handicap. She could be running for black type soon so a mark of 86 looks lenient.
