Tonight's action: three runners to note from Doncaster and Uttoxeter
It has been another busy afternoon of action, but there's more to come this evening with fixtures at Doncaster and Uttoxeter. Here are three horses it could be worth noting.
Arcadian Rocks6.20 Doncaster
Mick Channon's juveniles have been flying this season and Arcadian Rocks, a son of Society Rock, could be another winner for the yard this evening.
Having travelled well on heavy ground on his debut at Salisbury when third of five, the colt then didn't enjoy much luck at Chester, finishing fourth.
He probably needs to find a little bit of improvement to get his head in front, but that's entirely possible.
Tanarpino
6.35 Uttoxeter
Although you have to go back to 2016 for Tanarpino's last victory, the seven-year-old is largely consistent and might be able to get his head back in front and register a fourth win under rules.
He finished third in a decent handicap chase at Cheltenham last time and that form has been boosted with the fourth, Baden, successful next time at Ludlow.
Black Friday8.20 Doncaster
Trainer Karen McLintock had a good day at Hamilton on Friday with two winners from four runners, and the yard's good form might continue with Black Friday.
The colt was a progressive two-year-old last year, finishing fourth, third and second before disappointing in a York nursery on his final start.
If coming back to form on his three-year-old reappearance he might be overpriced under Jamie Spencer.
