Tizzard raining winners on super Sunday as weather changes

Colin Tizzard welcomed the rainy season with a storming five-timer on Sunday hoping to open the floodgates at the big meetings which come thick and fast.

"Today was our first big day with runners and it's been a super Sunday," said Joe Tizzard, the trainer's son and assistant.

"It lets you know the horses are in really good form with big races to come. We have had to be patient for the last two or three weeks but now it is raining we will have a lot of runners."
