The deadline for entries for the 2022 Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff is fast approaching with nomination forms needing to be returned by 5pm on Tuesday November 9.

Nominations are invited in six categories: the David Nicholson Newcomer, leadership, rider or rider/groom, stud staff, dedication and the community award in memory of Rory MacDonald.

Generous prize-money is paid to the winner and their establishment as well as to two runners-up in each category, while the overall Employee of the Year will receive £10,000 – with the same going to their stud or yard colleagues.

Anyone can put forward a member of staff at a racing yard or stud by completing the nomination form here.

Claire Sheppard, chief executive of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, has been added to the judging panel.

Sheppard said: "I am honoured to have been asked to join the judging panel and know from my time at the TBA how incredibly important these awards are.

"They recognise the vital work that stud and stable staff across the country do and I would encourage anybody who is yet to nominate somebody they believe is deserving to do so."
