Three to note for tonight's meeting at Chelmsford

Before the weekend's highlights there are still plenty of chances to find some winners and with the all-weather action at Chelmsford taking centre stage tonight, we unearth three runners it could pay to note.

West Palm Beach (6.15)

When John Gosden calls on Ryan Moore to ride a two-year-old for him, a good run can be expected. Moore has had three winners, three seconds, a third and two fourths from nine rides for Gosden-trained juveniles in the last five seasons. West Palm Beach shaped very promisingly on debut when third at Kempton in August and is fancied to build on that.

Dalileo (6.45)

Could we see a Group 1 winner on the card? The Mark Johnston-trained Dalileo has Racing Post Trophy and Investec Derby entries, and connections will be looking on him to improve on his debut effort. The colt was far too green to do himself justice when last of four at Musselburgh last month and may do better this evening.

Bicolour (7.45)

This three-year-old filly failed to sparkle when with Mark Johnston, but perhaps a change of scenery will do the trick. She has joined Archie Watson, and while a disappointing favourite last time out at Bath, she showed some promise on her handicap debut the time before at the same course. Watson has reached for the first-time headgear and it will be interesting to see how she fares.
