Super Saturday is almost here, but there's a lot to get stuck into on Friday evening with three meetings in Britain plus two in Ireland, so there's no shortage of opportunities to boost your weekend war chest.

Chemical Charge
Second in the John Porter in April and third in the Group 2 Hardwicke last time out, Chemical Charge has built up a very solid profile, and drops in grade for this conditions stakes. The five-year-old has only finished out of the first three once in 11 career starts and looks tough to stop.

This is a competitive hurdle with some interesting runners, and among those is Colin Kidd's five-year-old gelding who has won eight of 22 career starts. A Grade 2 and Grade 3-winning hurdler, Rashaan disappointed last time in the Grimes Hurdle but can easily return to form here.

Swilly Sunset
9.00 Chepstow

From his last five runners, Anthony Carson has had three winners, and Swilly Sunset looks like he can keep the yard's good run of form going. The four-year-old is out under a penalty after a four-and-a-half length win at Brighton ten days ago and chases a hat-trick, with Silvestre de Sousa aboard again.
