Three runners to note at Ffos Las, Gowran Park and Wolverhampton
Enjoy the evening racing while it lasts with three meetings from Ffos Las, Wolverhampton and Gowran Park to keep you interested from 4.05. Here are three runners to keep an eye on
Capla Demon 5.00 Ffos Las
Gina Mangan joined Gay Kelleway recently and celebrated her first winner in Britain aboard Capla Demon for her new boss at Leicester last month. The apprentice aims to repeat the feat at Ffos Las with the consistent handicapper up 3lb for that success.
The Classic Racing-owned three-year-old has solid claims of recording back-to-back wins.
Rayda 6:40 Gowran Park
This Aga Khan-owned three-year-old caught the eye on debut when staying on nicely to finish fourth at this track.
The form of that maiden has been boosted with the third, Akua, winning at Bellewstown and the fifth, Madame Delavanti, finishing second at Tipperary.
A bold show can be expected of Dermot Weld’s daughter of Mastercraftsman, with Aidan O’Brien’s Prepare For Battle rated the obvious danger.
Let’s Be Happy 8:25 Wolverhampton
Ali Stronge’s Let’s Be Happy aims to maintain her unbeaten record at the track in the 1m4f claimer.
The daughter of Mastercraftsman has scored on all three starts at Wolverhampton, including recent back-to-back victories.
The form of those wins has worked out well and she is the one to beat at the weights when taking into account the 7lb claim of Thomas Greatrex.
