Three horses to note at tonight's all-weather meetings

Prestbury Park has shown good form on turf and is expected to run just as well on all-weather
Prestbury Park: should have no problems switching to the all-weatherCredit: John Grossick

Two all-weather cards are the entertainment for this evening with Kempton starting at 4.40 and the action at Dundalk kicking off at 5.25. Here we picked out three horses it should pay to follow.

Prestbury Park
6.10 Kempton
He left a lasting impression with two victories in the summer and possibly had excuses in two runs since returning to the fray last month. The son of Shamardal led for most of the way at Newbury last time before tiring on soft ground and has the ideal draw in one to exploit his front-running style. His pedigree suggests he will have no problems switching to the all-weather and William Buick is a positive jockey booking.

Berrahri
6.40 Kempton
A consistent and versatile handicapper for John Best, the six-year-old is proven over various trips and on different surfaces. His form on turf tailed off a little towards the end of the season and it is hoped a return to Kempton's Polytrack, where he has won twice before, can spark a revival. Godolphin's Alqamar is going to be a short-priced favourite, but Berrahri is worth each-way interest particularly if the eight stand their ground.

Clear Skies
7.55 Dundalk
Racing powerhouses Aidan O'Brien and JP McManus join forces with this daughter of Sea The Stars, who has a fair bit to do to live up to her 500,000gns yearling price tag. She has had some long layoffs since finishing second to Alice Springs in the sales race at Newmarket in 2015, but has been found an excellent opportunity to belatedly get off the mark having finished a promising second over course and distance seven days ago.
