Three horses to keep an eye on at Wolverhampton and Dundalk tonight

The At The Races cameras are at Wolverhampton and Dundalk tonight for a double bill of all-weather action. Here are three horses to watch out for

Corinthia Knight
6.45 Wolverhampton

Corinthia Knight is an all-weather winning machine and must be respected in Wolverhampton's feature. From 12 starts on artificial surfaces, the Archie Watson gelding has won eight times, been second twice and third once. His record over 5f on the all-weather is 111121 and the latest of those was a pleasing victory at Lingfield after a couple of starts over 6f. Only three, he appears to be improving and should be right in the mix again.

Mcguigan
8.00 Dundalk

When Jim Bolger named a promising Galileo colt after Cuba's Olympic boxing hero Teofilo Stevenson, he was rewarded as that horse went on to become an unbeaten champion juvenile. Mcguigan, who is by Teofilo incidentally and shares his name with legendary boxer Barry McGuigan, has not hit those heights and is on a lengthy losing run, but ran well over tonight's course and distance last month and has dropped to what looks a workable mark.

Evasive Power
8.45 Wolverhampton

Curragh trainer Michael O'Callaghan has had only two runners at Wolverhampton in the last five years and one of those won, so Evasive Power is perhaps a horse to note in the day's final race. Gary Halpin knows the juvenile and also makes the trip from Ireland to ride, but connections will hope for better than last time, when the colt was 11-4 for a novice at Kempton, but failed to fire. His form before that has a solid look, however.
