These yards do best with their juveniles - who do they have running today?
The Cambridgeshire meeting puts a big focus on juveniles, with the Middle Park and Cheveley Park Stakes two of the feature contests at Newmarket on Saturday.
Some trainers excel with juveniles, and the yards listed below have enjoyed a stellar year with their two-year-old runners. They have had at least ten juvenile runners or more this year and are the ones to watch according to Racing Post statistics . . .
Charlie Appleby
38 winners from 95 juvenile runners (40 per cent)
It can be of little surprise that Charlie Appleby leads the way with juveniles and he has several excellent chances on Saturday.
Impressive Stonehenge Stakes winner Flying Honours is a warm favourite for the Royal Lodge at Newmarket (1.50), while Mischief Magic (3.00), a Group 3 winner at Kempton last time, is prominent in the Middle Park market.
Away from HQ, Appleby is doubly represented in Haydock's opening novice (1.30).
Key runner: Flying Honours (1.50 Newmarket)
Wide-margin wins last two starts, latterly in a six-runner Listed race at Salisbury (1m)
Julie Camacho
6-25 (24 per cent)
It has been a fantastic year for Julie Camacho, who is having a career-best campaign by a wide margin.
She sits on the 39-winner mark for the campaign, far surpassing her total of 28 from 2018 and Oscar's Sister flies the flag for the yard in the 7f nursery (4.50) at Newmarket.
She got off the mark at the fourth attempt when scoring by a nose at Haydock and a 3lb rise for that narrow success should mean she is still competitive three weeks on.
Key runner: Oscar's Sister (4.50 Newmarket)
Narrow Haydock winner but the runner-up didn't do much for the form last week at Ayr.
Roger Varian
16-73 (22 per cent)
Roger Varian can do no wrong at the moment and he will be looking to try to match last Saturday's monstrous seven-timer.
He has also been a dab hand with his juveniles this season and his biggest chance looks to be the improving Mubhijah in the 7f fillies' maiden at Newmarket (4.15). She will be ridden by Jim Crowley, who enjoyed a treble on Friday. He also runs debutant Amazing in the same race.
Hexameter is yet to score in six starts but she holds the form advantage in the 1m4f novice at Ripon (4.58).
Key runner: Mubhijah (4.15 Newmarket)
Took a nice step forward from her debut when third at Sandown (7f); hood on now; more to come
Owen Burrows
3-14 (21 per cent)
It has been a breakout season for Owen Burrows and the Lambourn-based operator has won with three of his last four runners.
He has just one runner on Saturday as Almutawakel runs in the mile restricted maiden (5.03) at Chelmsford. He will bid to notch a first win on his third start.
He suffered a narrow defeat on his debut at Ffos Las in July but failed to build on that when disappointing at Epsom subsequently. He would have a strong shout if bouncing back to his debut form.
Key runner: Almutawakel (5.03 Chelmsford)
Big run on his debut and tricky Epsom track perhaps too much last time; can bounce back
Commissioning launched herself into Classic contention with a smooth success in Friday's Rockfel Stakes, further enhancing the strong juvenile strike-rate of John and Thady Gosden.
They have a couple of two-year-olds in action on Saturday, led by debutante Eastern Empress in the mile fillies' novice (1.30) at Haydock. The yard won this race in 2017 and 2018 and this well-bred daughter of Dubawi should go well.
The yard also runs Edith Rigby in the 7f fillies' maiden at Newmarket (4.15). The daughter of Showcasing makes her racecourse bow and is worth monitoring in the market.
Key runner: Eastern Empress (1.30 Haydock)
Well-bred newcomer whose top yard won this race in 2017 and 2018
