Gambling companies are used to coming under fire from the general public, and increasingly so as we await the publication of the government’s report into betting.

However, while used to the slings and arrows that come its way, the betting industry seems to have slipped significantly down the social standings and would appear to now sit below the oldest profession of all.

Responding to an article in The Times reporting an increase in the number of betting adverts being seen by children, one website commenter was outraged.
