The panel reflect on the Betfair Chase and the big races that lie ahead

Can Bristol De Mai reproduce his Betfair Chase form away from Haydock in the next two legs of the £1m bonus?

Nick Gifford, trainer Nigel adores this horse and told everyone that good ground wouldn’t pose a problem. He’s clearly not a soft-ground bully so I see no reason why he shouldn’t carry that form to Kempton. Although he has form at Cheltenham I’m not convinced he’ll get the extra quarter-mile up that hill.

Richard Horner, Sky Bet odds compiler Unlikely, I’m afraid, as he’s four from four at his favourite track Haydock but is zero from four at Kempton and Cheltenham so the odds are stacked against him. We at Sky Bet still make him a 33-1 chance to take the £1m bonus for winning all three.
