Nicky Henderson's highly exciting novice Angels Breath aims to strengthen his place at the head of the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle market when taking on five rivals in Thursday's Sidney Banks Memorial Novices' Hurdle at Huntingdon.

The five-year-old is unbeaten in two starts, landing an Ascot Grade 2 in dominant fashion on his rules debut, setting him up as a general 5-1 chance for the opening race of the Cheltenham Festival – he will give 5lb to his opponents on Thursday for that Ascot victory.

It will certainly be a good test for Angels Breath with the Warren Greatrex-trained Emitom, who has also has a perfect record, set to make a fifth career start along with smart prospect Anytime Will Do.

Hold The Note, I K Brunel and Strong Glance also take their chance in the Listed contest, which was won by Vinndication last year.

Officials from Huntingdon are excited about the line-up and predicting a good crowd for the seven-race card.

Jack Pryor, clerk of the course, said: "We are absolutely delighted with the field. We have benefited from Musselburgh not being on so Angels Breath comes here instead and seeing him will be very exciting, but Emitom and Anytime Will Do are fairly useful yardsticks as well.

"Normally we would be pleased to have any of them so to have three is fantastic. The crowd sales look good and we should have a really nice day especially if the rain stays away."

He added on Thursday's ground: "The going is currently good to soft, soft in places, but with the forecast overnight rain I would anticipate it easing to soft all round. We will have to wait and see what arrives in the morning."
