Confirmed runners and riders for the Darley Dewhurst Stakes
Star juvenile Pinatubo will face eight rivals as he bids to extend his unbeaten record to six in the Darley Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
The prospect of taking on a two-year-old rated higher than Frankel was as a juvenile might have scared off many but not Aidan O'Brien, who has a four-strong team headed by Wichita for a race he has won six times.
An impressive winner of the Group 3 Tattersalls Stakes over course and distance last month, Wichita was supplemented for £40,000 by the Coolmore partners and will be joined by stablemates Arizona, Monarch Of Egypt and Year Of The Tiger.
Arizona has already been on the receiving end of Pinatubo's brilliance when left toiling in third as the Charlie Appleby-trained son of Shamardal won last month's National Stakes by nine lengths.
Pinatubo is the general 1-3 favourite for the Dewhurst with Wichita (4-1) the only one of his rivals quoted at single figures.
The nine-strong field is completed by Positive, Mystery Power, Royal Commando and Iffraaz.
Confirmed runners and riders

4. Mystery Power Oisin Murphy
5. Pinatubo William Buick
6. Positive Adam Kirby
