Monday

Meetings at Brighton and Perth kickstart a busy week, while at Newton Abbot Greatwood Gold Cup winner Umbrigado returns in the Par Inn For Sport And Fun Handicap Hurdle (3.00).

Evening action comes from Newcastle and the sole Irish meeting is held at Galway. There is Grade 1 action on offer from Saratoga, where the Hopeful Stakes (11.11) is the main attraction. Trainer Steven Asmussen has won the last three runnings and will look to bring up the four-timer with Gulfport.

Tuesday

Goodwood hosts the British EBF £100,000 2yo Fillies Series Final (4.10), where Sirona bids to back up her impressive debut win. There are six more races from the Sussex track alongside action from Leicester and Catterick.

There is Listed action from Auteuil, which hosts the Prix Jean Bart hurdle (12.50), and Galway with the Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes (6.40) taking centre stage. More evening racing comes from Hexham.

Wednesday

Doncaster's Cazoo St Leger festival starts with Leger Legends day. The Ubettabelieveit Leger Legends Classified Stakes (3.00) will feature many familiar faces who have retired from the saddle and has been won in the past by the likes of Sir Anthony McCoy and Mick Kinane.

The card also features the Group 3 Japan Racing Association Sceptre Fillies' Stakes (3.35) and the Listed Cazoo Scarbrough Stakes (4.10), for which 2019 winner Equilateral is entered as trainer Charlie Hills bids to win it for the third time in four years.

Elsewhere, there is racing from Carlisle and Uttoxeter, with Kempton hosting a seven-race all-weather card. The sole Irish action comes from Cork.

Thursday

It's the second day at Doncaster and the action starts to heat up with a seven-race card featuring a pair of Group 2s. The juveniles are up first in the Cazoo May Hill Stakes (2.35) and Listed winner Dance In The Grass could look to continue her unbeaten start for Charlie and Mark Johnston.

The Coral Park Hill Fillies' Stakes (3.10), which John Gosden won in 2019 and then again in partnership with son Thady last year, is the other Group 2 on the card and the Gosdens are represented by Mimikyu. The conditions stakes (4.20) could see the return of last year's Derby winner Adayar.

Elsewhere, Epsom hosts the Jump Jockeys Derby (2.15) and week five of the Racing League takes place at Southwell. Other action comes from Chepstow and Chelmsford, with the only Irish meeting hosted by Laytown.

Friday

Back at Doncaster and it's time for the stayers in the Group 2 Coral Doncaster Cup (3.10) where we could see Trueshan, who was absent from the Lonsdale Cup at York last month. However, there will be no competition from Stradivarius this year.

The Group 2 Wainwright Flying Childers Stakes (2.35) promises to be a quality race with the Molecomb Stakes winner Trillium and Nunthorpe Stakes runner-up The Platinum Queen among the entrants.

Nostrum looked a high-class prospect when comfortably landing a Sandown maiden and the same could be said about the Newmarket debut winner Highbank, with both in the Listed Cazoo Flying Scotsman Stakes (2.00).

The other four fixtures take place at Sandown, Chester, Ballinrobe and Salisbury, where the conditions stakes (6.50) could feature the Ebor winner Trawlerman.

Saturday

It's a blockbuster day with three Group 1s featuring the final British Classic of the season at Doncaster – the Cazoo St Leger (3.33). Charlie Appleby won last year with an odds-on favourite in Hurricane Lane and since winning the Gordon Stakes, New London has held that same position at the top of the market.

There are also two Group 2s with juveniles on show in the Coral Champagne Stakes (2.20) followed by the Cazoo Park Stakes (2.55) for older horses.

Ireland has more top-level action at Leopardstown with the Group 1 Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes (3.45) promising to be a fascinating race. There could be a rematch between the Coral-Eclipse winner and runner-up, Vadeni and Mishriff, and Royal Whip winner Luxembourg could also feature.

The Coolmore America "Justify" Matron Stakes (4.55) is another high-quality affair with Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Homeless Songs possibly lining up against the likes of Duke of Cambridge winner Saffron Beach and July Cup winner Alcohol Free.

The supporting card is just as good with the KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes (2.40) and the Clipper Logistics Boomerang Mile (4.20) – a pair of Group 2s – and the Group 3 Paddy Power Stakes (3.10) featuring among action.

Other fixtures on a busy day come from Ffos Las, Chelmsford, Lingfield, Chester and Musselburgh.

Sunday

It's again to Ireland we go for a whole host of Group 1 action at the Curragh including the Comer Group International Irish St. Leger (4.10), for which Goodwood Cup winner Kyprios heads the market.

The Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Flying Five Stakes (2.25), Moyglare Stud Stakes (3.00) and the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes (3.35), which Charlie Appleby has won for three of the last four years, are the other three Group 1 races that feature on a high-quality Sunday.

There are also two British meetings to get stuck into with Musselburgh hosting the Musselburgh Gold Cup (3.15) for three-year-olds and Chepstow featuring the The Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Bath Summer Sprint Series Final Handicap Stakes (3.25).
