Spencer had the luxury of being the first trainer to have access to the July course this year when sending his Commonwealth Cup hope up the pristine turf at 8.30am on Saturday. Covering six furlongs under Michael Hills, last year's Group 3 Molecomb Stakes winner was not stopping at the close of his exercise with Alfie Solomons (Daniel Muscutt) and looks a big price at around 25-1 for the sprint at Royal Ascot on June 21.
