Family firing up Soumillon as he chases third Arc on Longchamp favourite Tarnawa

The thought of his three children watching him win the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on favourite Tarnawa has got Christophe Soumillon excited as he warms up for Longchamp with his first ride in Britain in more than two years at Newmarket on Saturday.

Soumillon partners another favourite, Perfect Power, in the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes as he looks to repeat their success in the Prix Morny for trainer Richard Fahey.

But it is the race he described as "the best in the world" on October 3 that Soumillon is most aching to capture for a third time to add to his triumphs on Dalakhani in 2003 and Zarkava five years later.
