So Mi Dar has been ruled out of a crack at the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Saturday week as she takes her time to recover from the injury that also thwarted her bid for last month's equivalent Classic at Epsom.

Generally 4-1 third favourite behind the Aidan O'Brien pair Even Song and Minding, the John Gosden-trained filly has been on the easy list at Clarehaven Stables since being found to be lame on her off-hind leg ten days before her intended run at Epsom.

Unbeaten in her three starts to date, including a four-length triumph in the Group 3 Musidora Stakes at York in May, the Lloyd-Webbers' filly holds an entry in next month's Group 1 Darley Yorkshire Oaks, a race that connections won in 2013 with The Fugue. However, she may well not return until after that.
