SIS blames late result on communication error between teams

SIS yesterday apologised for the unusually long delay in providing SPs for the final race at Ffos Las on Tuesday, with a spokesman promising a review of the company's processes.

The full result of the 6.55 was delayed by nearly 45 minutes, a situation which the organisation blamed on a chain of events set in motion by the late withdrawal of Red Rose Riot.

"While some of the on-course bookmakers were reforming their books, incorrect price changes were inadvertently published by us due to an operator error," said the spokesman. "These changes should not have been published, as not enough bookmakers had reformed their books to create a new market.
