Shane Shortall is set to become stable jockey to Iain Jardine, joining the growing band of Irish riders teaming up with British connections.

Adrian Heskin, Davy Russell and Jonathan Moore will all be seen more in Britain this season, and now Shortall is joining them after formalising a burgeoning relationship with the Scottish trainer.

Winner of the Galway Plate on Road To Riches in 2014, Shortall has become a frequent flyer across the Irish Sea to partner Jardine's runners.
