Sherwood honoured to train first horse for McManus

Grand National winner Oliver Sherwood will train his first horse for JP McManus after smart mare The Organist returned to his Lambourn yard last week.

The daughter of Alkaadhem won four of her six starts for the Million In Mind Partnership last term, but was bought by McManus's racing manager Frank Berry at a Goffs sale in May.

She has spent the summer at the owner's Martinstown Stud in County Limerick and Sherwood is honoured to be training for jump racing's biggest supporter.
