Two of last season's Cheltenham Festival winners are set to reappear at Down Royal's two-day festival fixture next month, with Shattered Love expected to join Samcro on a strong teamsheet for trainer Gordon Elliott and owners Gigginstown House Stud.

Ballymore Novices' Hurdle winner Samcro has already been pencilled in to make his seasonal return at the track on Friday November 2, although it has not been revealed whether he will show up in the Grade 2 WKD Hurdle or the 2m4f beginners' chase, and Elliott has now nominated the Grade 2 chase the following day as the target for JLT Novices' Chase victor Shattered Love.

"I will be starting a lot of my better horses off at Down Royal next month," said Elliott. "It's a fair, galloping track and it is a very lucky track for me."
