Milton Harris is to make a surprise comeback following an enforced seven-year hiatus from training and is eager to move on after admitting to mistakes in the past.

Harris failed in two attempts to have his licence renewed in 2011 and 2015, with the BHA rejecting his application on the grounds he was not a fit and proper person.

Harris, 59, was hit by financial problems caused by the recession and fall in property prices, which led to him being declared bankrupt, but he has regained his licence and plans to send out runners from his new base in Wiltshire within the next few weeks.
