Seamie Heffernan, George Baker and Teddy Grimthorpe deliver their verdicts

What’s your assessment of the Middle Park with an eye on next year?
Former jockey and pundit George Baker I thought it was a very good performance by the first two. Ten Sovereigns looks extremely straightforward with a likeable attitude. Jash travelled probably too strongly early doors and paid the price for that late on, but to be that far clear of a Molecomb and Gimcrack winner is impressive. They’re definitely going to be two exciting three-year-olds.
Juddmonte racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe Ten Sovereigns and Jash are very useful. The winner has a fast pedigree and, although I’m not going to tell Aidan O’Brien where he should be going, I think he looks more of a sprinter. The second horse looks like he’ll stay a bit further.
Jockey Seamie Heffernan Ten Sovereigns has always shown us a lot of controlled speed at home and when they have controlled speed there’s always a chance they’ll get a mile. But if I was to put my head on the block I would say speed will be his thing next year rather than a mile or further.
