Punters are putting their faith in Rachael Blackmore and Monalee for Saturday's Savills Chase (3.10), hoping the star jockey can replicate A Plus Tard's shock victory and defeat today's hot favourite Kemboy.

Henry de Bromhead's eight-year-old has been backed into 9-1 (from 14), as Blackmore bids to repeat Friday's Grade 1 win over Mullins' hotpot Chacun Pour Soi. The Willie Mullins-trained Kemboy is steady at a general 7-4.

Monalee is seeking his first top-level success since February 2018 and was last seen finishing third in the Clonmel Oil Chase.

The ground at Leopardstown eased from soft, yielding in places to yielding to soft on the chase course, with a dry day forecast. The hurdle and bumper course eased from soft, soft to heavy in places to soft.

In the Frank Ward Memorial Hurdle (2.00), Mullins' third string Killultagh Vic has come in for plenty of market support. The ten-year-old has been cut from 16-1 into 12-1 for the other top-level event on Leopardstown's card.

Philip Hobbs's Thyme Hill still heads the betting for Newbury's Betway Challow Hurdle (3.00) although his chief market rival The Cashel Man has been supported this morning.

An impressive course-and-distance scorer last month, The Cashel Man represents Nicky Henderson, who won this event with Champ 12 months ago. Henderson's runner has been cut from 7-2 into 5-2.

There was just 0.5mm of overnight rain at Newbury last night and the ground remains soft for Saturday's card, which starts at 12.05.
