Russell shows off his talents as leader of impromptu public singalong

T'is the season to be jolly, and all that, and many of us will be having a good old sing-song to help keep spirits high, especially if there has been a touch too much mulled wine about.

Among the most popular places for an impromptu singalong is public transport and passengers on the Luas light rail system in Dublin last week were lucky enough to be serenaded by a number of jockeys who had been out in the town for Davy Condon’s stag do.

Leading the choir, which included Paul Carberry, Andrew Ring, Martin Ferris and Mark Enright, in a unique rendition of American Pie was former champion Davy Russell, while the stag himself impressed onlookers by performing a number of pull-ups.
