Ryan Potter is confident his stable star Jetoile can "run a big race" against some of the sport's most famous names as the rookie trainer bids to win Britain's richest handicap hurdle at Newbury on Saturday.

Potter, who has just 16 horses in his yard in his first full season training, will take on the likes of Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls with the talented novice hurdler in the £155,000 Betfair Hurdle.

Jetoile won twice before playing second fiddle to Supreme Novices' Hurdle favourite Constitution Hill in the Tolworth Hurdle last month and is an 8-1 shot to make it a winning first start in handicap company at Newbury, having been as big as 12-1 on Monday morning.
