Riders Onthe Storm helps one player rocket up the leaderboard
Riders Onthe Storm's Grade 1 success in an incident-packed Ascot Chase on Saturday helped one Tote Ten To Follow player shoot from 31st to joint-second on the leaderboard.
James Welsh 41 has moved 29 places up the table after the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained chaser landed his first top-level success in a contest which saw Traffic Fluide and Cyrname fall at the final fence. Riders Onthe Storm bagged 28.7 points for that effort.
Cracking Smart was the biggest individual scorer of the week. He added 20.8 points for his Tote Win/Place return to his 20 Grade 2 points with victory in the Boyne Hurdle at Navan on Sunday.
Bonus points could be collected by Cheltenham Festival-bound runners next month, with Champion Hurdle hopeful Cilaos Emery (17.2), Stayers' Hurdle contender Emitom (24.5) and Grand National entry Ballyoptic (23.6) among those to accumulate points over the weekend.
Other runners throughout last week to gain points included McFabulous (12.2), Greaneteen (11.2), Chris’s Dream (24.8) and First Flow (11.5).
