Kieren Fallon has made his latest return to the saddle as a work-rider for William Haggas as he continues his recovery from the depression that last month forced him to call a halt to his glittering career.

The 51-year-old has an "open-ended arrangement" to ride out for the Newmarket trainer, for whom he partnered many Group winners towards the end of his career including Dancing Rain in the German Oaks in 2011.

While riding out at Somerville Lodge, Fallon is continuing to have treatment for his condition, which caused him to retire from race-riding on July 3.
