Zarkandar rolls back years to book another festival trip

Age shall not weary them indeed. It's nearly six years since Zarkandar landed the Triumph Hurdle but he could well be back at Cheltenham next month.

He might have landed the Stayers' Hurdle at the festival two years ago had he not nearly fallen two out, and that Sun Bets-backed race is in his sights once more after the ten-year-old scored his first victory since 2014.

Zarkandar made a mistake at the last flight this time but was already in front and it did not stop him landing the Grade 2 Betfred Rendlesham Hurdle by three and three-quarter lengths.
