Worked-up Camelback shrugs off antics to get over the hump

Camelback, who made all to account for two rivals in the 7f juvenile conditions race, is something of a Jekyll and Hyde character, according to trainer Ger Lyons.

The son of Exchange Rate was making it two wins from three attempts and after this length victory, under Colin Keane, Lyons said: “Camelback is as quiet a horse as you could wish for at home but when he comes to the track it’s a completely different story. He gets all worked up and had to be led all the way to the start today.

“He obviously has an engine but we’ll have to have a good think about what happens next.
