It's onwards and upwards for seven-year-old Accord who made a winning debut over fences in the 2m3½f limited novice handicap chase in good style under Tom Scudamore.

He landed a few good bets as well as he was sent off favourite at 4-1 having been as big as 13-2 in the morning.

A winner over fences back in his point-to-point days, he jumped well on his first start over regulation fences and when Scudamore sent him clear going to the second last it looked game over.
