Prolific point-to-pointer Midnight Folie maintained her perfect record for Tim Vaughan after securing a third win in eight days to make mincemeat of her rivals in the 2m6f handicap hurdle at Cartmel.

The nine-year-old, who earned her eighth successive win after five point successes, built up a huge advantage under Ben Jones which was never relinquished as she won by 15 lengths.

"She won really well," said Vaughan. "I just saw there was a mark we could exploit and she's done it emphatically.
