Willie Mullins made a familiar journey to Thurles on Thursday and left with a double – the bright lights of four Grade 1s at Fairyhouse on Sunday to look forward to.

He may be only at half throttle, but Mullins will be happy with how his season has started, Thursday's double bringing the champion trainer's tally to 18 winners in the last fortnight.

Things are humming along just right for all at Closutton ahead of the first meeting of major importance of the jumps season in Ireland on Sunday.
