Whoosh! Speedy Tarboosh continues hot spell to leave Midgley dreaming big
It wasn't just trainers of Classic contenders from the Vertem Futurity Trophy dreaming of next year – Paul Midgley is already looking ahead with sprint sensation Tarboosh.
The consistent five-year-old has been a revelation for a trainer with a proven track record with sprinters, winning four races and finishing second in the other two since claiming victory at Newmarket in July.
Tarboosh saved his best for last with an imperious display as he gave weight and a comprehensive beating to his 21 rivals in the 5f handicap worth £45,000.
