Whitaker ends three-month losing run with Resdev Way

Sometimes it pays to be bold and the decision to try 11-race maiden The Resdev Way over an extended mile and a half when his last two races had been over six and seven furlongs worked a treat.

The three-year-old made it 12th time lucky when under a fine waiting ride from Barry McHugh he got home by two and a quarter lengths to end a three-month losing run for trainer Richard Whitaker.
