Winning a competitive handicap chase like the Tim Duggan Memorial is hard enough to do once but Ballyclough trainer Eoghan O'Grady and his stable star Westerner Point have the knack as they landed their second victory in three years.

O'Grady has proved himself a good target trainer and he will have enhanced that reputation with this victory for a nine-year-old he has managed to keep sweet enough to win ten races.

Westerner Point's second triumph in this contest was achieved in customary game fashion as Phillip Enright was rewarded for charting a course on the inner, with the 14-1 shot staying on well from the last to beat the dogged Kylecrue by two and a half lengths.
