The markets are by no means infallible, but they certainly got it right with regards to the Luca Cumani-trained Archery Peak, who justified heavy support when overcoming a long absence in the second division of the mile maiden.

The four-year-old was last seen finishing sixth in a Newmarket maiden in October 2014 having been third at Doncaster on his debut the previous month, but bits and pieces of the morning 9-4 did not last long and he was forced down to evens by the off.
