It was a profitable journey south for Scottish trainer Iain Jardine as Marnie James demonstrated a potent turn of foot to win the feature 5f sprint handicap in fine style.

Emphatically reversing York form with the reopposing Eeh Bah Gum, as well as second-placed Fool For You, the son of Camacho scored by a length and three-quarters off a career high mark of 100.

The win gave jockey Jason Watson the second leg of a double on the day and he said: "He’s won very decisively today and is a talented horse to win off that sort of rating.
