While American English may have been the order of the day in the debrief following the Morny, James Fanshawe and Hughie Morrison ensured it was strictly the Queen’s variety being noted by the media after the visitors swept the board in the day’s other Group races.

Fanshawe landed a second Darley Prix Jean Romanet in three years as Speedy Boarding stormed to victory, bringing a first career Group 1 success to her faithful partner Freddy Tylicki.

Tylicki had notched his biggest winner to date aboard Meon Valley’s daughter of Shamardal in the Prix Corrida back in May.
