Tylicki delight as Lions roars to family success at Limerick

It may have taken nine attempts to notch his first success but Madeleine Tylicki appears to have found the key to Port Lions, who made it two wins from six starts for his current stable at Limerick.

The useful four-year-old managed to poke his head in front at just the right time under Chris Hayes in the feature 7f rated race, getting the better of Geological, who was making his 95th career start.

A delighted Tylicki said: "He's a quirky little horse with loads of ability and wants things his way, but that worked really well. He's tough and enjoying himself, we're keeping him sweet at home.
