Treble for Elliott but Ruby steals the show with 'ballsy' ride

Gordon Elliott recently admitted he had built up the strongest bunch of horses to go to war with since he started training.

That comment came just a week before the arrival of upwards of 20 top notch Gigginstown House Stud jumpers that left his main rival for this year’s trainers’ championship, Willie Mullins.

After adding another treble of winners to this season’s tally at Tipperary on Tuesday, the Longwood-based trainer offered his reflections on each of his three winners, beginning with Shattered Love, who took the opening mares' maiden hurdle easily.
